Von Montag, 14. September bis Freitag, 18. September 2026, findet die Einführungswoche statt. Dort werden Dir hilfreiche Tipps und Tricks zum Studienstart sowie die wichtigsten Ansprechpartner:innen genannt, damit Du Dein Studium entspannt starten kannst.

Von Montag, 07. September bis Freitag, 11. September 2026, findet der Mathe-Vorkurs statt. Wenn Du Dir nicht sicher bist, wie gut Dein Mathe-Kenntnisse sind oder Du Deine Kenntnisse etwas auffrischen möchstet, bist Du hier richtig. Die Teilnahme ist natürlich kostenfrei.

A warm welcome to the Department of Engineering (FBT)!
For all newcomers enrolling in the 2026/27 winter semester, below is an overview of the most important information and links to help you get started with your studies.
The orientation week will take place from Monday 14 September to Friday 18 September 2026. The programm of this week is particularly aimed at first-semester Bachelor's students and is mainly offered in German. However, as our new Master's students, you are of course also welcome to take part in the general afternoon and evening events.
The Information Session for our first-semester Master's students on the Mechanical Engineering programme will take place on 21 September 2026, 8.30 am to 10.00 am in room D.2.08.

For our students on the Master's programmes Mechanical Engineering (and Interactive Media) there will be a special programme to welcome you all to the city of Brandenburg. This will take place on 17 and 18 September and is organised by our colleagues from Brandenburg Connect and the International Office. You can find further information here:

The pre-course in maths will take place from Monday, 7th September to Friday, 11th September 2026. If you’re not sure how strong your maths skills are, or if you’d like to freshen up your knowledge a bit, this is the place for you. Participation is, of course, free of charge.
When: 7–11 September 2026, daily from 10:00 to 14:00 (including a 30–45-minute lunch break)
Where: Ingenieurwissenschaftliches Zentrum, Room D.1.02
